Why does the body need sleep? I've never researched it, but maybe I should. I've had a total of 5 hours sleep between Sunday morning and Tuesday night. Your body reacts so violently to not getting any sleep. You start off with constant yawning....I mean so often that your mouth gets dry because you spend more time with it open than you do with it closed. Of course, you try drinking coffee, but that only works for the first day maybe. The second day you body tries to sleep on its own, whether you want to sleep or not. You don't notice it at first, but you start to see stars every so often. Then your vision gets blurry. No, you don't need your glasses, they wont help you anyway. All of a sudden the next thing you know... your head weighs about 20 pounds, your neck doesn't remember how to work and you feel as though your falling.
Now, how does that work? What causes that? I'm going to find out.....I'll be back as soon as I know.
