I'M BACK! I PROMISE
I have made a new promise to myself and anyone out there listening. I am going to be writing in this blog at least 5 times a week if not more. I will try to write everyday, but give a little break, I DO have a life outside of the internet. (sort of)
So, if you are like me, you have most likely been either 1) watching texas hold'em poker on t.v., 2) playing texas hold'em with friends, or 3) going so far into playing poker that you have now joined partypoker.com and spent hundreds of dollars to get some minute amount of entertainment trying to squash similar internet junkies trying to win some money like yourself.
I have gone to hell and seen what the devil has to offer those of us trying to make a quick buck. I have recently cashed out my partypoker account and uninstalled it off of my computer. This thing is so addicting. I was even playing at work when everyone was in meetings or at lunch. God, am I pathetic. I didn't loose hundreds and hundreds of dollars, (even though I know a few people who have, yes i'm talking about you, P) but I have lost a good amount and that in a nutshell is why it is now off my computer and out of my hands.
I do play poker a lot with my boyfriend and his friends. I think this whole poker thing is soooo huge it is hard to avoid. IF YOU HAVEN"T PLAYED, STAY AWAY! FAR, FAR, AWAY! RUN BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE! Don't get me wrong, playing poker once or twice a week for $10.00 ins't bad at all, but when you are shelling out $50.00 checks after $50.00 checks into partypoker and playing three tables at once you have gone a little overboard and need some serious talking to. Poker is a game, not a lifestyle. Take it in stride. If not, IT WILL EAT YOU ALIVE. (and yes baby chad, you can win a lot and make good money, but it is only a matter of time, you little 15 year old junkie). HEHE
