Envelope

If you are a mom, would you like to get this as a Mother's Day present???? I would never have thought of this as a present for Mother's Day, but maybe that's just me.

Don't worry mom, this isn't what I'm getting you! (Just in case you're reading this)

This does remind me of when I was a kid, though. Before I tell you why, I would like to say to my mom.... I LOVE YOU MOM! THIS IS NOT ME BEING MEAN, JUST AN OBSERVATION THAT I REMEMBER OF THE OLD DAYS AND WHEN I THINK OF IT I SMILE BECAUSE I LOVE YOU SO MUCH FOR JUST BEING THE CUTE LITTLE MOM THAT YOU ARE. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU LAUGH, CAUSE YOU LAUGH AND GIGGLE JUST LIKE A LITTLE GIRL! LOVE YOU LOTS! *kiss*

I remember when I was a kid, (which was not that long ago) my mom would cut out coupons out of the newspaper every once in awhile. I would watch her go through them one by one and sort them out. I'm not sure what order she put them in because I was young and to me it seemed like some strange, alien filing system she had. I was in awe of her when she had those coupons. She had this little envelope booklet thing she used to carry them in. I don't think she has it anymore, but this reminded me of it. And it reminded me of how much I love her. After she would finish filing them into their slots in the envelope, she would shove it into her circus bag (her purse). My mom used to keep all kinds of stuff in that purse. She carried more stuff in there that you would think was humanly possible. If you were to try and take all the stuff out and then put it back in, you would never be able to. She had some top secret 007 way of getting everything in there. It was amazing.

I love that about my mother. She is such a great mom. She would always have anything I needed wherever we were. If she didn't have exactly what you needed, she was like McGyver in finding another way to fix it. I also remember a time My mom and us three girls went for a day trip up north. We ordered some KFC and went to a park to have lunch. When we got to the park, we realized we didnt have plastic-ware. That wouldn't be a big deal for chicken, but how do you eat mashed potatoes... (don't say it). If you would even try to mention using your fingers, don't bother. My middle sister is one of those people (messy people, I love you too sis *kiss*) that always seem to get food on themselves. So you have to try and make food as clean as possible and no finger foods are good for my sister. So my mom went through her Circus Bag to find something, ANYTHING, we could use to eat with. The pack rat that she is ended up getting us all credit cards that we could use to scoop the mashed potatoes out with and eat. Not easy, but at least we didn't have to use our fingers. That's why I love my mom, my MRS. MCGYVER!

:( I wouldn't say best forgotten. It brings back memories of shopping trips together and quality time. I miss time spent with you! Maybe you can buy me the red envelope. I dont clip coupons either, but no matter what I put inside, I would always be thinking of you.
